Bill Movish was born in Milford, Connecticut in August of 1972. His knowledge of the event is sketchy, at best. His birth certificate claims the event took place shortly after 9 in the morning; this is notable only in that he usually prefers to get up sometime after noon.
He has lived a few places around the United States, but fails to see any possible interest in enumerating these same. He had a fairly typical (which is to say, unpleasant) schooling, though this is perhaps because he was there to learn rather than learn to conform.
After high school he briefly attended the University of Washington, and after a short break finished his BA at the Evergreen State College. At Evergreen, he did many things prudence demands not be explained. The triumph of his artistic and scholastic career was having a performance piece censored by the faculty.
He has always had an inclination towards art, but has not always sought to become a sculptor. In his teenage years, indeed, he dreamed of being a poet. The futility of this avenue soon discovered, the evidence was committed to the flames. Believe me, it's better this way. He first began sculpting just before college, and has been doing it off-and-on ever since. He derives his inspiration from many sources, though rarely tries to produce anything in such a way as to reveal just what they are.
His other interests are to be found in the world of letters. He is an avid reader of ancient and classical history, 19th century French literature and German baroque poetry. He knows a half dozen languages, and recently started learning ancient Greek. His goal in life is to be a Renaissance Man.
Bill hates artists' biographies and writing about himself in the third person.
